I'm shocked and extremely saddened! He was definitely a talented actor that I will miss. 2016 has taken so many souls, especially recently, and it's achingly sad. My empathy and positive thoughts go out to his family and friends.

Come, this type of death only happens in the movies.

Was he drunk or sleepy? You leave your car at neutral and it rolls on to you? Is this real?

So awful. He was so talented and adorable. 27 is too young.

No, this is the type of death that raises eyebrows by the viewers. Life IS stranger(or freakier) than ficton after all.
this Staement wasn't meant to disrepect the deceased. it was just an observation.

I'm reading that Jeep issued a recall a few years ago because people were mistakenly putting the car in neutral due to the seamless shifting.

Two parents have lost their only child, and on Father's Day at that, which is unspeakable. This is a nightmare and so very sad. Let's keep the Yelchin family in our prayers because they need it right now. They are going through something terrible and I feel bad for them.

He played his role as Pavel Chekov very well. His performance as a naive, innocent, bright and eager 17-year old Pavel Chekov in the first Star trek reboot film is fantastic.

Wow, that's just sad. Such a random, freak accident to take a young guy's life.

It's very real, and it's not the type of thing that only happens in the movies. Many people have been run over by their own cars, some fatal, some not.

So sad. Yelchin was a memorable presence on those movies. He had talent and potential to do so much more. He will be missed. RIP. :(
