I am a longtime reader and fan of the comic book medium and its many superhero characters, with my favorites being; THOR, The AVENGERS, the JLA, [the original] Firestorm/Ronnie Raymond, Moon Knight, ROM: The Space Knight, Jack Of Hearts and The Micronauts to name the immediate few.
With the explosion of comic book movie adaptations dominating movies and even television lately, I am SO proud to see my childhood heroes finally have their day in the limelight. Their influence and popularity among longtime fans, such as myself is finally being experienced and enjoyed by others who may not have had interest in them before and the genre is growing exponentially as a result. There has never been a better time to be a superhero comic book fan than now and I for one am very grateful to have experienced their live action interpretations on the "big screen" in my lifetime, (more specifically; Thor, Captain America, Iron Man, the Avengers, Spiderman, The X-Men and others dating back to Superman: The Movie).
Being both a fan of comic book superheroes and a fairly decent artist, I have created my own characters throughout my life; some of whom I have copyrighted and plan to present to the public to see if their conceptualization, appearance and stories will appeal (and be of interest) to others. These copyrighted characters are; The Symbol (a hero I created inspired by 9/11 who is the Dark Knight version of Captain America and/or the Patriotic version of Batman), Starbird/Starwing (a cosmic powered human fighting threats against Earth), Magni (the story of one of Thor's sons awakening from suspended animation and wielding Mjolnir in the 21st century) and Gemini 5 (a superhero team of 5 humans powered by alien energies)
