That and Daredevil, yes.
Read Arkham Asylum by Morrison
What an amazing and deep read. Would love to read it again, I would probably stare at every page for a few minutes, there's just so much to take in. Brilliant creepy...
Yeah, that sucked. Especially because they haven't reached the same level of quality at Marvel yet. Nothing by the guys at Marvel have been the level of stuff like Soule's Swamp Thing and Lemire's...
The colors are a bit off (the Onslaught one too) so yeah, it seems like a custom dustjacket. Well done indeed;)
It's pretty good so far but still hasn't really taken off yet. The humor was better in Fraction's run but Lemire handles the drama better. Plus I love the art.
Secret Warriors was a Bendis/Hickman collaboration right? Because that is actually my favorite Hickman book as well as my favorite Bendis book haha
Yeah, it's all a matter of taste. Bendis actually is famous because of his dialogue and it definitely has it's charm but I'm not a fan myself. Maybe because I'm a very straightforward guy myself...
I'm a huge Miller fan and LOVED his Daredevil stuff but I just couldn't get through his Elektra stuff. I don't know why exactly but it just bored me.
Of course it's a little exaggerated but the worst cases of Bendis talk can be quite similiar to this. This is a more common example...
I read the first Sweet Tooth deluxe yesterday and today (not sure if it's horror but it definitely has a lot of horror elements). It's was a surprisingly fast read but a pretty good one nonetheless....
This cracked me up:D
It's the perfect example of why I generally don't like Bendis.
Yes, it's a great starting point. Lemire's run is great because his story expands the GA mythos, has amazing villains, a captivating and exciting plot and one of the most brilliant artists Dc has...
Yes, agreed. I generally don't like Spidey and I generally don't like Bendis but I did enjoy Ultimate Spidey quite a bit.
It's definitely regular trim. That sucks, I won't buy it now.
It's very nineties, so it has its fair share of people who don't like it. It's the Uncanny X-Men omni's by Claremont that are universally lauded.
Secret Warriors rocks! Some dangling plot lines and the like but the story just has this epic scope. It's a really exciting read.
Green Arrow Year One is probably the best contained GA story you can get after the tpb's you've read. Green Arrow had a lot of good (not great) runs after Smith so you can also dig into that. Not...
YES! Ostrander stuff is always good in my book. Plus it make sense to release soon because of the first appearance of the modern Suicide Squad.
Sounds fun, I'm in! I don't have a lot of horror comics though, so might have to improvise a bit.
Damn,I hoped this would be Hulk by PAD. Not really interested in the Master of Kung Fu stuff.
It's a great read and the books are of good quality. It may be better to try out one forst though, then buy the second if you like it. Or buy the first trade.
Parker Martini has a $75 RRP right? Then £60 isn't exactly a sale price haha.
It's supposed to be about 60 issues or so IIRC. So about 6-7 volumes including spin-offs
Yeah Busiek's Iron Man is great. I also love the Grell run but that isn't collected sadly.
