Yup, Morrison says so here:
I just remember that interview sticking out because I never saw in any others that he addressed further stories for Max and Ray down the road.
Morrison said back when the series was first coming out that a sequel was more "a matter of when."
The last issue of Annihilator will be out June 24. It was supposed to be the 17th, but Diamond's website has it pushed back a week.
Yeah, issue 4 was pretty trippy. I'm loving the series and trying to figure out what is real, a dream, or whatever.
It was solicited as 6 issues, but I think Burnham said on twitter a few months...
Yeah, it's weird. It was changed on Previews World a few months ago to Pax Americana, but DC's website still has it as the Reis issue. Not sure why DC wouldn't have been promoting the change to get...
There's a release date now, June 17, for the final issue.
Legendary answered someone on twitter and said it'll be out in June. Irving said that sounded right on twitter in a response to someone, too.
You haven't missed the final issue of Annihilator - it hasn't received a release date as of yet.
No announcement on a tpb yet, but the deluxe hardcover will be out in October.
Yup, #6 is the last issue. It was supposed to be out later this month, but because of #5 being delayed, #6 might be early March now - I can't find the solicit on Previewsworld to confirm.
I think the first announcements of the series started back in 2012, so I'd guess Irving had a decent head start (if he wasn't working on much other stuff at the time).
Loving Annihilator. Irving's color work in the whole series has been great, but the purples in issue 5 really stood out to me. The whole series has been strong, and I'm really looking forward to the...
DC's site is often slow on changing shipping dates. Previewsworld had this delayed to the 28th on the Dec. 30 shipping changes notice. DC just updated the delay last Thursday. It can be annoying.
These are great looking. I cannot wait for this series to start up in February.
This article has some preview pages for those that are interested (I avoided looking closely. I'm waiting for next week).
The article also has some good info and quotes from Morrison.
Morrison says here that his original pitch was for 15 issues, concluding with R.I.P.
"Little did I suspect...
Makes perfect sense, and that's how I expect he responded.
I'm curious, and if you don't care to or want to answer it's no big deal, how much Morrison commented on your interpretations and thoughts on the run. I know it says he was sent the work in...
I finished the book this weekend and found it a really enjoyable read. Morrison's Batman run is my all-time favorite and one I reread a few times a year it seems and it never fails to be a great...
Bats and Gordon make mention of Zero Year in Inc. #13.
I dropped the Batman book from Zero Year fatigue. The colors were brilliant, but the book itself was dragging on too much for my liking. If...
