Both comics are written by Charles Soule.
Why is it wrong of Brett not to like the New 52 Wonder Woman and voice his opinion about it? Is it wrong for people who love the New 52 Wonder Woman and constantly praise it? We all like what we...
Geesh...........I swear, this country is always witch-hunting someone.
The CCA really said that about Wonder Woman and the Amazons? Sigh........I'm glad DC doesn't have the CCA's stamp on their covers any more.
I switched over to all digital last October.
I'm sorry to read that Reis is leaving Justice League. He brought a modern-day "George Perez" feel to the book. Fabok's Justice League cover/pin-up looks good except he forgot the white stars on...
I like the Mental Radio a lot. They used it quite a bit on the old Super Friends cartoon.
Nice theory. If the writer had mentioned something like that in the story, I'd be ok with it but to just leave it vague, raises questions.
I have mixed feelings about this story. Here's what I liked:
- Diana in Washington D.C.
- Circe's back in a pretty cool new costume. I miss the purple hair though.
- Diana used her bracelets...
I'd like to see the following:
Dr. Fate(set on E2)
Longshadow aka Apache Chief
That brought a nice little smile to my face. Thanks for sharing. :)
Why do you feel that Johns is obligated to read Wonder Woman?
I don't think that's a requirement on the artist's part, just a courtesy so I doubt that happens with every writer/artist team for each and every issue. Even if Geoff did get pre-print copies of the...
You both bring up some good counter arguments. I guess I wouldn't mind if Diana was a secretary as long as she's not coming across as sub-servant to Steve or anyone else. A spineless DP is no fun to...
You're right, back in the 40s, being a nurse and then a secretary was quite an accomplishment for a woman but now a days, people have made comments that they feel those roles diminished Diana...
Phil Jimenez seems like a good choice if DC wants an epic feel for the story.
Perhaps in Azz's final issue, he'll reveal that Aleka was really a man who pretended to be a woman so he wouldn't be traded to Hephaestus for weaponry. :P
Agreed. I don't want to see her reduced to just fetching coffee for Steve while taking his dictations. I liked Diana Prince in Heinberg's run but she doesn't necessarily have to be a secret agent...
Those are some great ideas for the Angle Man. Hopefully some creator at DC uses them soon.
I love the Diana Prince ID as it gives writers more room to put Wonder Woman in a variety of different situations.
Crisis On Infinite Earths takes the prize for me. No other crossover event has matched it's creativity, grandeur, magnitude, and solid majestic art page for page. Runner up goes to Infinite Crisis....
Well, at least you're honest. :)
As much as I've enjoyed the title, I would like to see a little more focus on Wonder Woman - specifically her rogues. I'm not surprised that we've seen mostly Superman villains in the book as the...
It may be sloppy work but again, the fault doesn't lie on Johns or Soule or do you think the letterers are at fault as well?
The difference with Perez, Marston, Jiminez, etc. is that they didn't...
