Bone would make a great animated series. 2D, not CGI.

5 immediately come to mind. I'd pay ridiculous sums of money to see each of these produced with the highest animated, cinematic quality afforded most modern video games.

    1) Kraven's Last Hunt (1987)
    2) Frank Miller's Wolverine 4 Issue Limited Series (1982)
    3) Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars (1984-85)
    4) Civil War (2008)
    5) Kingdom Come (1996)

I'd also be up for a Pitt live action flick. "E.T. meets the Hulk."
One comic to film that was actually within spitting distance to getting made was Tim Seeley and Stefano Casselli's slasher hunter duo of Cassie Hack, and Vlad, in HACK/slash.
Whole team would be awesome. Pitt would rock too.

Maybe not a movie but Tomb of Dracula as a BBC TV show would be cool.

TEAM 7-a military, black-ops unit that is the best of the best our armed forces ever produced. But their boss, Miles Craven, thinks they could be made better when he has them exposed to a mutagenic compound called Gen-Factor. Who doesn't get killed, goes bugnuts, goes bugnuts and kill themselves from its effects. Effects which give them incredible psionic powers. Think "Chronicle meets The Expendables". The original mag, written by Chuck Dixon, and drawn by Aaron Weisenfeld for Image/Wildstorm I always thought would be perfect for the big screen. It's also been grandfathered into the DCU since the DCNu, with a different membership. One of which being Amanda Waller. Once I suggested for the second, third(if happens) SUICIDE SQUAD flick would feature Task Force X being sent out to take down Team-7 after it goes rogue when it learns that they're exposure to the Gen-Factor by Mile Craven was intentional. When they pop back up on the government's radar Waller sics the squad on them.

    The Archie Goodwin/Walt Simonson Manhunter
    The Tim Truman Hawkworld
Bone (that one could be a huge franchise)

    Sandy Hausler

EDIT I see Andrew Crossett beat me to Bone. Right on, Andrew.

EDIT 2: And Gaastra, too. Just shows that they HAVE to do a Bone movie.

The thing that worries me about a Bone movie is that they'd be pressured to do it with CGI animation, because that's the shiny thing now. But it clearly needs to be 2D animation to accommodate Jeff Smith's art style. I wouldn't be too psyched to see Thorn and Grandma Ben as bouncing plastic inflatables. Or worse yet, combined CGI and live action, which would end up looking like The Smurfs movie... and nobody with a soul wants that.

I would like to see Studio Ghibli do it, TBH.

Doing the complete story in one movie would be difficult, but not sure Bone has enough recognition factor to support a trilogy or series right off the bat. This is another one that might work better as a TV series.

There was a animated one in the 70s if you want to check out a movie version.

Yea it was one animated movie, I think. I caught some of it on You Tube last year. It was fascinating to see it done in the same style as the Gene Colan comic.

AQUAMAN:Sub-Diego-after reading the trade paperbacks I wouldn't mind seeing this adapted to the big screen. Although maybe with a better resolution where the guys responsible were dealt with properly at the end.
