Well, damn. No 'Tec team here, not even as a cliffhanger. That's disappointing, since the solicit indicated that. There are a few things that hint at why the Outlaws might get sent after, though.

Other than that, it was fine. Kind of a "day in the life" sort of thing to show just how smart Bizarro is now and what he can do, which is impressive.

I actually thought about Scarlet when I first eyed the dolls in the preview and I`m hoping Loedbell goes there when the Outlaws are locked in Arkham.

The dynamic among the Outlaws is great. My heart is going to break for Bizarro, isn't it? Love him helping the man and his family.

The idea of Bizzaro devoting his limited time on intelligence to the Outlaws is already a tearjerker. Execution was great as well.

Can't wait for the thing with Willis's letters to get explored.

This was totally a love letter to silver age Superman, down to the way his intelligence is used. Anyone notice how the panel/pose of Bizarro sitting at the chair with screens around him is very reminiscent of the Superman of that era? If you ever saw the Garcia Lopez DC characters portfolio for marketing products, there`s the very same pose.

With just one issue, Bizarro felt more Superman than almsot the inteirity of Rebirth Superman titles.

Artemis is uncomfortable with this new development being way too fast and there`s a shade of Bizarro that gives the vibe he`s definatly going to do something they aren`t expecting. There`s the finale twist, of course, getting our spider senses tingling and there`s the scene where he says to Jason what he wants to hear and then just stands there watching him go. Silence in this issue spoke louder than words.

Anddddd we have another sass Jason moment, never enough. The way he to responds to Penguin after taking that deal and Money out of their hands, art including with him just waving his hands is precious. "Your money you say? Ah well, it`s a gonner`them life".

I disagree on your Rebirth Superman comments, but I did love the issue. Smart Bizzaro has to go though because I can't take those crocs on the last page.

I look at the Jason in this issue and he's so so proud and supportive of Biz. There's definitely hints to Biz's planned move that Artemis picked up but Jason has been glossing over in his pride for Biz. It just hurts more knowing Biz is doing this to keep his outlaws happy and Jason has so much emotion put into his outlaws, it's going to be heartbreaking if what Biz does causes Arty or Jason to be disappointed moreso because he's trying so hard.
Who would've expected Bizarro to be the tearjerker of this team

Curious about this, since from what I've heard both Superman titles are very well received. What's your take on current Superman?

Eh, i apreciate the shout out and the book is still toons of fun, but Silver Age is just one of the many interpretation of Superman over the last 75+ years

The first volume of RHATO made (what I interpreted) as a slight reference to 'for the man who has everything' storyline, where Jason saves Supermans life. It was so great to see the rhato editor make a note of that on the page, when Bizarro was making a reference as well.
