Default Superman (LOIS & CLARK) vs Hercules (LEGENDARY JOURNEYS)

    It's a '90s genre tv showdown!

Prime Dean Cain Superman vs. Prime Kevin Sorbo Hercules.

Only feats displayed from their respective TV shows allowed, no other sources. Standard powers and gear, standard rumbles settings.

Full disclosure: forgotten most of LOIS & CLARK: THE NEW ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN and never watched more than a minute of HERCULES: THE LEGENDARY JOURNEYS, so I have no idea if this is a curbstomp, or for whom. Apologies in advance of this turns out not to be a good rumble.

    Who wins?

Ohmygod, what did Hercules do to you?

    O_o

Cain Superman blitzes him and sends him into outer space, or something along those lines.

    For real?

I seem to recall Cain 's Superman was considerably behind even his contemporary Post-COIE comic counterpart.

Doesn't Sorbo Hercules have, like, magical powers to even the field? Or is he just superhumanly strong and tough and that's it?

Ok, what if BFR is no longer an option?

Sorbocles had some brief power ups from time to time, but that's about all.

Cain's Superman was fast enough to travel around the world picking up stuff Lois wanted - not just flight speed, but actually getting specific items of food, specific flowers, that kind of thing - in the space of a sentence, and that was him going back and forth as she spoke (if people complain about that, he also did stuff like shoot at Luthor, then wander over and catch the bullet before it hit Luthor, casually, which while not at the same speed as my other example is still vastly faster than anything Hercules showed). He was strong enough to deal with giant space stations, throw stuff into orbit, that kind of thing.

    It's a pretty big stomp.

Ok, ok, (thinks about how to salvage this rumble), what if Cain Supes and Sorbo Herc just arm - wrestle over an enchanted unbreakable bench? What Class strength would each be rated?

Episode one, Clark flies a 2000+ ton space shuttle up into space. He's considerably outside of Sorbocles' strength grade. I'm not sure exactly where to peg him beyond that, as I don't 100% recall all of his feats on the show, myself.

I've seen arguments of Hercules being listed as at least CL 20. But even though this iteration of Superman is weaker compared to most versions, he could still destroy an extinction-level asteroid (one big enough to cause a solar eclipse). And that was back in season 1.

As strong as Hercules is, his strength is nothing compared to Dean Cain Supes.

I loved the Hercules show but Caine Superman is magnitudes above him in every power.

cain supes is kinda crappy when compared to other versions, not to mention his show. (seriously one of his biggest rivals is a guy named "bad brain" johnson)

but compared to sorbo-cules, he's too strong and fast.

Cain Superman had some great speed feats, and pretty decent strength, too. In one episode he flew to China and got Lois some food, brought it back so fast that Lois burned her fingers on the still-hot food. In another ep he borrowed a trick from the Flash and vibrated his molecules fast enough to phase through solid objects. It hurt, as I recall, but he managed it. But yeah, waaaay too much for Sorbocles to handle.

He was doing that 'trips all over the world' thing to different places to get her different stuff as she mentioned it in the space of a single sentence.

Yup: it was something like lobster from here, flowers from there, food from this other place. Lois was looking away and just spouting off like "it's weird that I can just say 'I want blahblah from here,, blahblah from there, blahblah from the other.' Clark was behind her, and each time she said 'thing and place' he'd woosh and be standing there with it. Significantly FTL travel and reaction speed feat there. Plus, he had to find "frictionless lobster", "adamantium chinese food boxes", "phase-shifted flowers" or whatever the hell he was grabbing that could take the speed. :-)
