Default Which characters would you like Bendis to have a hand at?

With the earth shattering news that Brian Michael Bendis is leaving Marvel for DC Comics (REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!) (There's already half a dozen clickbait articles about this on Bleeding Cool), I'm curious what characters you would like see Bendis write?

Personally, even though Bendis is probably going to be writing something safe like a new Batman title, or be the new JL or Wonder Woman writer just in time for the new Justice League film, but personally I'd like to see him either write more second tier characters or create a new character for the Dark Matter line, because I feel that's the area where he thrives in.

    Answer: none.

Not a fan of his "writing".

I think later in his career, Bendis's output started to get very derivative and shoddy, plus I don't think he understood many of the Marvel characters he wrote, but hopefully DC will put a leash on him. Maybe the entire concept of Bendis writing for a publisher other than Marvel for the first time on 15 or so years, will put pressure on him to write better stories. I remain optimistic because his runs on Alias, Ultimate Spiderman, and Daredevil were really damn good.

The Question or Hellblazer are my top picks for Bendis to write. Maybe Cyborg.

Cyborg...with conditions. One bring back the Walker upgrades and two give Cyborg access to big time villains. Then let him do his thing.

I'm not familiar with his recent and unpopular works, but Green Arrow or Nightwing in the flavor of his Daredevil run would be great IMO.

Things don't go too well when a Yankee writes John Constantine. A Brian Michael Bendis Question series sounds like a great idea. I don't know about Cyborg, I think Johnathan Hickman, a fellow Marvel writer who is rumored to eventually write a title for DC, might be a better fit.

If Bendis can return to his form that made his original Daredevil run so acclaimed, perhaps I'd read his take on Question. Anything else, I'll avoid.

I don't want him on any characters I like. With that in mind put him on Cyborg and a Hal Jordan book.

If Semper's run at Cyborg is coming to an end, I would like to see Bendis take a crack at him. It's obvious that DC still wants to invest in the character and Bendis is still a reliable enough name where people will give the title a glance if he's at the helm.

    qft.

kinda. I'd like to see Bendis on maybe a Hal Jordan or Oliver Queen book, since I dislike those characters and avoid them anyway!
Comics were definitely happier, breezier and more confident in their own strengths before Hollywood and the Internet turned the business of writing superhero stories into the production of low budget storyboards or, worse, into conformist, fruitless attempts to impress or entertain a small group of people who appear to hate comics and their creators. -- Grant Morrison, 2008
