Because polls and votes have so much credibility these days. Not to mention with fake news all around. This was expected which is why it's even more imperative for the real narrative to be known.

Also some posters have already said they regret their vote but have no way of changing it now.

On top of that, the parallels between this poll and election polls are shockingly similar. Seems people don't mind voting for a serial rapist/sexual assaulter.

That's never made sense, and it clearly isn't the direction that the comics actually go with - Emma's old solo, and the rest of last thirty years of comics aren't consistent with that.

So people who like Emma Frost are the same as people who support Donald Trump? Jean outed Bobby, so does that mean that everyone who likes Jean Grey support outing LGBT+ folks? Jean refused to accept Rachel, so should all Jean fans do just that? In, what, either Warsong or Endsong she tortures Emma, so do all Jean fans accept torture? Grow up.

How about for a proper burial? I guessing he managed that for his wife's gag inducing, decomposing, body.

she stops being Emma if she's forgiven or even desires forgiveness for her past, imo.

Canon changes all the time so that doesn't mean anything and literally no one acknowledges her solo so it might as well not be there. Also her origin has been attempted to be redone various times, but they've all been mostly forgotten.

If someone can like a rapist and have no issues with one, then yes, that same someone likely voted for the rapist too.

She helped Bobby accept who he was, otherwise he'd grow up to be as repressed as the Iceman we had. Not to mention, he was in a safe environment, and she pulled him aside first to let him know that she knows. Also you are talking about Jeen and not Jean so completely different.

When someone comes up to you and claims you have a teenage child that you didn't sire, after you lost out on years of your life anyway, to not one, but two dopplegangers who committed terrible deeds in your name while also living out your dream life that you expected for yourself, then you are fit to judge Jean. Also Rachel flew away before while Jean was still processing that information. It's not like she gave her even a day to accept all this. She just dumped the news on her and left when Jean didn't open her arms up for an embrace instantly. Jean accepted her soon enough later and Rachel obviously didn't hold a grudge after that.

Jean never tortures anyone in Endsong or Warsong. The fake blonde tortured herself with her internal realizations that she is always second best and when she couldn't handle the Phoenix so go read those again before you cite them, since you couldn't even remember which one Jean was in. Go grow up yourself and educate yourself while you are at it, otherwise don't bother to comment with ignorance because such ignorance is the bane of us all.

I think he only buried her so he could play kissy face with his strumpet on her grave.

Emma's described as "young" all the way back in 1986. The letters page in Gen X state that she's between "25 and 30." She's supposed to be sixteen the first time she meets the Inner Circle, in Gen X as well. All of which long predate Morrison, assuming that you haven't blocked that out. You're being intentionally obtuse in the face of clear textual evidence.

Then again, should have expected it given the username.

Last I checked it was Emma who was sleeping with Scott -- one might think that she would be the one to "properly" bury him...

Generation X is from the 90s and that is not 1986. She was described during her inception as being a contemporary of Xavier, Magneto, and Shaw in her 40s-50s or whatever age they were and I always go by the original canon that Claremont came up with, regardless of what other writers embellished or outright bastardized.

And yes, you should have expected it. I can't say the same though.

You should check out UXM 151-152 because this whole incident is in that storyline and not The Dark Phoenix Saga which is probably why you don't remember it. It was never a really popular storyline and has been mostly forgotten, which I'm sure many are glad is the case.
