I posted a cover featuring a nun, but I'm voting for Abe for the Matt Baker cheesecake/"good girl art" cover.

    Shalla Bal

I wonder when the first "grief-stricken superhero holding his superheroine relative's unconscious body in his arms" cover first appeared?

My unofficial tally has raffi ol d'arcy with 4
Iron maiden, bryan, and Shalla Bal with 3
Ajax-X. Whovian, and icctrombone with 2
Stony, Kirby101, seismic-2, venomous mask westphilly punisher, Abe, n0x1a and Chicken Pocket with 1 each

making Raffi Ol D'Arcy this week's winner, but it was close, so if someone wants to double check my tally and make it official, please do. Someone will need to notify the winner too, as we are getting snow and ice and the power staying on here might be iffy overnight.

Thanks MRP for the tally. I’m up and running, as it’s 11:08 am here in Poland. We’ve got it pretty cold here also. It was minus 9 when I took the dogs out for their morning walk. Brrrrr.

I feel very honoured to have won amongst such a fantastic set of covers. This is my first ever Cover Contest win since affiliating myself with such a fascinating group of posters such as the CCC (Cover Contest Crowd) back in September 2017

A very BIG thank you to The Darknight Detective, Kai “the spy”, nx01a and Shalla Bal for voting for my Flash #258 (even got an 8 in the no., ) cover by Rich Buckler. Much much appreciated!

Also congrats to the runners-up Iron Maiden, Bryan and Shalla Bal. It was fight to the finish line, but how can one outrun the Flash, eh?

I will endeavour to get a contest up and running as soon as possible.

Well done Raffi with that powerful Buckler cover.

With the contest over, this was the one i almost went with.

There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

Thanks Kirby101. That's a pretty awesome cover by Marie Severin and Dan Adkins. A serious contender!
