Look at the page above from SM #1, Clark doesn't seem to have any problems using his powers.
That gives me an idea... maybe Superman only has until the Phantom Zone fully absorbs into Earth's atmosphere to get it back out of the Zone again? Like it's only the atmosphere keeping everything "in check" for the moment?

I agree with you on the part about crossovers, but I also agree with Sacred Knight that the books should complement each other to a certain degree. They should at least, say, adres every now and then the events of the other book. He’s writing both books himself so that shouldn’t be too much to ask for, right?

So interesting news, remember this tease with Jason Fabok art? https://twitter.com/BRIANMBENDIS/sta...21002844549120

Apparently Fabok is drawing the end of each issue in the man of steel and the finale will be entirely drawn by him. So I guess every last few pages will tease what's going on with jon and lois.

Damn Fabok is an amazing artist. Loved him since I first saw him on Batman Eternal.

And yea it looks like Clark is saying good bye to Jon there.

That would be an interesting way to go about showing us what's going on.

I’m glad he’s recovered from his creative burnout. Love to have him on Supes full time but I hear he’s doing the Three Jokers plot with Johns.

Shocked to see who we see in those Fabok pages; I know he's been talking glowingly about the recent runs, but I didn't think Bendis would actually be picking up those threads so directly so immediately. I'd thought it was giving too much significance to a minor plot point, but maybe Superlad was on to something about what's happening with Lois and Jon after all.

I'm kind of surprised you-know-who is still around at this point.

He is around to take Jon and Lois to that new place where everyone seems to be super, and because Manhattan needs to change the DCU back or atleast for the better, and we will see for change which will be a visual sign of the change.
