THE HUNT FOR WOLVERINE Expands Into Four Epic Tales!

New York, NY–February 13, 2018– Wolverine has been trekking across the Marvel Universe, from the pages of 2017’s best-selling comic MARVEL LEGACY #1 to the current glimpses of Logan in the Where’s Wolverine pages featured in select Marvel comics…but is that really the Logan we all know and love?

This May, the story that kicked off in April’s THE HUNT FOR WOLVERINE #1 continues as intrigue, mystery, romance, and action collide in an epic so big, it will take four different series to tell the tale! Featuring thrills and chills for all X-Men fans as Wolverine’s past comes back to haunt all our merry mutants, each unique story harkens back to their old school adventures – changing some characters in ways that will shock readers.

Orchestrated by HUNT FOR WOLVERINE and DEATH OF WOLVERINE writer Charles Soule, a star-studded cast of talent have teamed up to unravel Wolverine’s secrets. Avengers No Surrender writer Jim Zub, She-Hulk writer Mariko Tamaki, All-New Wolverine writer Tom Taylor, The Amazing Spider-Man artist Matteo Buffagni, X-Men Blue artist R.B. “I’ve been holding my tongue, just waiting to announce this project and team of ultra-talented creators,” said series editor Mark Paniccia. “While these stories all reveal clues to the larger mystery behind Wolverine’s return, the writers all have some pretty huge moments planned that will have X-MEN fans talking and debating for some time to come.”

Featuring classic Marvel characters from Daredevil to Kitty Pryde to Spider-Man to Iron Man, major Marvel heroes will become part of Wolverine’s mystery as they try to track down Logan and figure out his secrets. But with answers come more questions…and with reveals come even more mysteries. Every clue leads to another twisting road and each story will provide fans with another tantalizing piece of the puzzle that will lead readers closer to finding out the real truth!

His return was just the beginning – the opening chapter of a story that will touch all corners and all characters of the Marvel Universe. Wasn't Kelly Thompson supposed to be writing one of these?

"Mystery in Madripoor" is the only one where the cast really tickles my interest.

Now that you mention it, yes she was. Weird.

    Guess Bleeding Cool was misinformed.

I would've been happy with just one mini, but four? All centered around Logan's upcoming return to the X-books? That's just an embarrassment of riches.

Do we actually know that for sure? Or is she just not appearing on one of the covers. It would make very little sense if she was shut out of this event.
Still hoping for that Helix Reunion...

Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

I hate Wolverine. I really do, but Weapon Lost and Mystery in Madripoor have my interest.

    Charles Soule on twitter:

Each mini has its own genre feel and vibe - and while each stands on its own and is a great story in its own right, they also provide major clues for what's actually going on with Logan. I structured this as a huge mystery, with reveals, red herrings, clues major and minor, misdirects... it's designed to keep you guessing, but slowly pull the curtain back on what I think is a pretty fantastic adventure. The first mini is THE ADMANTIUM AGENDA, which starts a number of Logan's old pals from the New Avengers - Iron Man, Spider-Man, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones. It feels like old-school superhero scfi adventure. It's written by @TomTaylorMade and drawn by @RB_Silva. Next up - MYSTERY IN MADRIPOOR, written by @JimZub and drawn by Chris Bachalo (@ShadeX6). It's got an amazing cast: Storm, Psylocke, Rogue, Domino, Jubilee and some other surprise guests. This one's like a spy caper. It's great. Third on the list - CLAWS OF A KILLER, written by @marikotamaki and drawn by Butch Guice. This one is a straight-up horror story, featuring folks not so fond of the Canoodlin' Canuck: Sabretooth, Daken, Lady Deathstrike and more. And finally, WEAPON LOST, written by me, with art from Matteo Buffagni. This is a detective noir, starring Daredevil, Frank McGee, Misty Knight and one-and-a-half other characters I've never written before but who are turning out to be a BLAST.

I'm interested very much in Weapon Lost because of how great Soule's Daredevil has been.

Possibly Adamantium Agenda too. We'll see. I'm also just thinking about getting the one-shot and then waiting for the Wolverine ongoing.

This seems to be the Logan Legacy and Wolverines s#++ stuff all over again. Not interested in a bunch of characters searching for some clues! There goes my enthusiasm. Wait and see, trade wait and waiting for reviews. Maybe there will be a good story.
Just give me a Wolverine/Logan or a Logan ongoing and I am a happy person. Do not need this!
    Maybe only the one shot!
Cheers, welcome back, bub! I am glad!
