Default What is The Best Comic Book Movie Character Adaptation

Title says it all, but it can mean two things: "most faithful," or "best interpretation."

    Two rules here:
    • You can suggest multiples, but just spitting a list is Lame. Offer a reason.
    • We're talking Characters here, not Films. So This Guy In S*** Film over That Guy in Shoulda-Got-A-Palme D'Or is totally legit

So. Your call: what's The Best?

Steve Rogers has been amazing, and Thor has had a fantastic arc.
That is the land of lost content, I see it shining plain, the happy highways where I went and cannot come again.

Watching Chris Evans as Captain feels like the comic version and he has interesting stories.

They are completely ripped from the comic pages.

    1) The characters from 300 and Watchmen.
    2) Deadpool.
    3) X-23.

Still tepid. Think deep and be explicit.

Thin, but as there's rationale, okay.

"most faithful," and "best interpretation." are different things. Also most of the comic character's image is keep changing over time.

    Mine:

    Christopher Reeve's Superman
    Helen Slater's Supergirl
    Lynda Carter's Wonder Woman
    Charles Xavier
JJJ from the old Spider Man series

Charles Xavier and JJJ fit the comic 100%.

Reeve showed the perfect image of Superman both on and off the screen.

Lynda Carter's Wonder Woman had the perfect image.

I'm not a big fan of Supergirl, but Helen Slater's Supergirl is really beautiful and probably inspired this not level A character to show up in screen later.

I think for B level characters, making them popular or mainstream is as great as making "the most faithful/awesome portrayal of the comic character".

Raimi Spider-Man, hands down. Had the signature moves, the signature fighting style, the spot on personality, and the classic costume look. It was clearly a labor of love from a true fan of the hero.

(Raimi Peter Parker, not so much)
Why yes, I AM a Mark Goodson/Bill Toddman production.

Yes! Though I thought Tobey as Parker was fantastic. I watched Spider-Man 2 today and it still ranks as my favorite comic book movie.
Favorite Characters: The Flash (Jay, Wally, Barry), Daredevil, Spider-Man (Peter Parker), Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), The Atom (Ray Palmer), Starman (Jack Knight), Stargirl, Captain Marvel/Shazam! (Billy Batson), Hawkman (Carter Hall), and Iron Fist.

Current Pulls: The Flash, Daredevil, Amazing Spider-Man, Peter Parker The Spectacular Spider-Man, Venom, & ASM Renew Your Vows.

Future Pulls: Hawkman, Tony Stark: Iron Man.
