ASM 12 is the one I'd pick. Spider-Man unmasked by Doc Ock

I find it difficult to publicly mourn Steve Ditko, because what the man clearly wanted more than anything else was for people to leave him the hell alone.

That said, he was a phenomenal talent whose work was truly unlike anything else. The pages where Spider-Man lifts himself out of the wreckage of the Master Planner's base comprise one of the most singularly memorable sequences in comics history.

I . . . really don't know what to write. He's man that deserves more credit of the impact of his creations.

I would like that as well and I agree.

I would love to see Marvel and DC bring back some of the characters he created for something special.

He co-created my favorite fictional character from my childhood, in Spidey. He also co-created my favorite fictional character in my adulthood in Squirrel Girl. He's probably added more to my enjoyment of comics than anyone except maybe Stan Lee himself. He was a fascinating person. He had beliefs that he truly held to. He always seemed a little out of place in mainstream comics, but I mean that in a good way. He had such a voice and so much to say that he was held back by franchise characters who have restrictions.

Very interesting person imo.. If you do some reading on him I doubt you'll feel differently.

I am quite sad to read about this.
Steve Dikto illustrated some of the first ever comics i ever read that were reprints of the first Amazing Spider-Man stories.
So i always been a fan of Steve Dikto art, more now with me knowing a little bit more of art that when i was kid.
