first thoughts on this casting ..

in the comic .. Christian Walker is a bigger build than Sharlto Copley ..

also, Retro Girl has always been pictured as younger than Michelle Forbes .. I mean, "girl" is in her code name .. and Michelle is a woman ..

Interesting casting... I don't quite see Copley as Walker, but hey... Surprise me.

Whoa, first thoughts......horrible casting. Great actors that I haver loved in a few parts, but not the right fit at all.

There's no nice way to say this, but why are they skewing so.....old?

Not trying to bash the show before it's off the ground, but this does not fill me with confidence.

Both awesome actors, and will def add some gravitas to the show. I just don't see either as right for their part.

    Isn't Retro Girl spoilers:
    incredibly old (as in millenia)
end of spoilers in the comics?

I disagree with most of the above complaints. I can see why they're casting older actors, as Christian is meant to be a world-weary cop, and Retro Girl's name is partly satirical - she is a throwback to a previous age, and it makes sense for her to be an older woman who still sees herself as a young girl. The only complaint I agree with is Sharlto's build, but that's a nitpick.

    I'm fairly happy.
