NXT can only go so far to show so much talent. Guys like ECIII and Van Ness slipped through the cracks , they did more outside the company. Which tells you , hey maybe having more farm promotions helps us with future talent.

Also the fact Impact is more viewed across the world it seems by having outside the US TV deals so that helps it. But like I said more farm leagues means more talent exposed , means more ways they can recruit down the road.

Anyhow in a surprising shoot I never knew existed...Jesse Ventura discussed Verne Gagne and Jim Ross ...

    - Ventura brought up that he had a small run in WWF in early 1980's and Vince McMahon pulled him to the side and told him , "I want you back in 6 months. I'll be fully in charge and I want you back so I'll be calling." Ventura went back to the AWA awhile but knew he was just there awhile. So he never told Verne Gagne this and the call came as McMahon told him it would. So Jesse was gonna go meet with Verne and give a notice.

But Vince advised him against that since he felt an argument would happen. That he didn't want Ventura to get into anything with Gagne and advised he send a telegram simply saying he would not be taking bookings by the AWA due to now being fully employed by the WWF. Venture claims he was the boss and he listened.

    - Then Ventura brought up that a big reason he departed in the 1983 was that him and Mr. Saito was a tag team and they had drew an increased house . That more tuned in to see him work that tag match and he drew a bigger gate than what they expected for that main event. So he goes to get paid and its less than what he did last time. Ventura pulled Wally Karbo to the side and demanded to know what was up . He had actually drew a bigger house and he at least expected a little extra ....not less than last time. Karbo had no real reason and Verne made the decision .

So Ventura joked , whats my incentive to try and draw now ? I'm getting paid less than when I do ! Then Karbo revealed that Verne & Greg was on an Aspen vacation . That the 2 went on the vacation as he realized they took the extra the guys made and went on a nice vacation. Not caring about the boys.

    - And that sums up why Gagne failed. As Ventura claims he had the best talent in the world at one point and could have hung onto everyone , if you paid better and tried to keep talent they'd stay more than likely. They wouldn't have left and Gagne didn't do it when he had chances to do it.

    - Jesse discussed some heat with Jim Ross when the 2 men were paired awhile in WCW. Ventura claims Ross would not sell for him on the mic. That he'd play the heel announcer and say something outrageous and J.R would ignore it. That he sensed Ross was angry over his salary he had gotten and work schedule. As Ventura claims he heard later he was making 4x the amount Ross was earning and working way less.

    - The interviewer reads that Ross admitted he was bitter how little he was earning next to Ventura and that he was working more. That he admitted he hurt the chemistry with The Body. Ventura gives props to Ross for admitting that and being man enough to say it. But it wasn't his problem. That its not his problem that he was making more , that Jim Ross has to work on getting the best deal for himself like he would. But he says that is good he manned up and admitted that he helped sink the chemistry there.

if you ask me, tight fisted promoters like Verne Gagne are a part of the pie of why the territories died

WWE can barely sustain two brands well and yet you want them to expand into a larger "farm system" !?

    WWE isn't everything.

Variety is good. Let TNA try to do something different, not become WWE Lite 2.0. We already had that from them once before.

Still rather see PWG, ROH, NJPW, etc. become a true alternative. I think whatever TNA is just needs to go away.

Del Rio apologizes to the WWE and Triple H for all his rants about them and wants another run in the company. He blames Paige for his rants. A class act Del Rio is.

hania the huntress debuted on impact looking ri-GOD-DAMN-thiculous. for those unfamiliar
    - Hania The Huntress was fired from Impact after refusing to do a 90-second job to Su Yung at the recent Impact Wrestling tapings in Orlando, according to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Hania made her Impact Wrestling debut at the Ottawa tapings last year and worked 3 matches at the most recent tapings. Yung is married to WWE Superstar Rich Swann, who is currently suspended indefinitely due to the domestic arrest after an incident with Yung last year.

Sorta sucks that he threw Paige under the bus a little bit there, especially given what she's going through right now.

But that aside, it's always nice to see former WWE guys who may have had drama when they left resolving things.

She's fired already? Didn't she just debut? It's so weird following Impact with such a big tape delay.

Eh, Bateman/EC3 kept getting hurt while in NXT. I'm glad it gave him such a huge chip on his shoulder to prove himself, but I can't really blame WWE for moving on when they did.

Well it appears Hania is a fucking idiot who wouldn't work with folks backstage . I mean really ? She just came in and refused to put someone over and wouldn't work with someone else.

There were also reports of her being constantly late to boot. The guy behind the SquardCircleSirens Twitter account said this had been a thing with her for a while and that he wasn't shocked this happened, lol.

Gagne has stories of being this way. Remember he once comically took Hogan's t-shirt money when he was in Japan . So he had a history of doing this and not thinking ahead.

What is sad is the hot good looking ones can be so dumb at times.

It's a shame. Googling her, she has a pretty unique look. But I guess if there's an issue, better to find out now than down the line.
