Well, Disney didn't allow the Marvel Heroes to be involved in the Lego Movie. Plus, it looks like we may not be able to see them in the sequels either.

That's because The Lego Movie was made by Time Warner. Why give their opposition use of their characters?

No such problem would exist with having a Spidey figure in a Toy Story cartoon, of course, because Disney owns both Marvel and Pixar.

Now that would be an interesting special to see.
Especially since Oswald is a WWI vet to contrast Cap's WWII vet.

Edit: Scratch that, Great Guns was in 1927. Thought it was a war propaganda cartoon.

Disney is using Elsa in the ABC network television show Once Upon a Time. If there was any serious intent to draw the interest of young girls to Marvel comics, using a character such as Elsa would be a perfect fit. Unfortunately relative to overall Disney revenues, the revenues from Marvel comics are almost a rounding error, so it does not justify such an effort.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Nightmare before Christmas (or just Jack) cast popping up in a supernatural or fantasy book.
