I quite enjoyed the Walk. It also got a 84 on RT.

2012's Flight? 2015's The Walk? lol

And going by Rotten Tomatoes, even last year's Allied seems to be average rather than bad (though I haven't seen it myself).

2015 wasn't too long ago. Older directors tend not to be as active as longer directors. Allied was alright. I do think he could be a good choice if his heart is into it.

I saw the tweet. I found it funny but I laugh or can turn virtually anything into a joke (you either laugh at everything you find funny or never laugh at all), but I can see why people may be upset.

Anyways, liking the tv spots for WW. I am not convinced she is flying in those teasers. She was probably just jumping and then they slow motioned her landing. But we will see.

Well now all the outcry about "where's the marketing" can shut up hopefully.

TV Spots looking great, only revealing a bit more of certain scenes and teasing a lot more awesome action.

Is it possible that there's just not a lot of hype for Wonder Woman? Maybe because of the polarized reactions to the other 3 films?
    I'm on Twitter https://mobile.twitter.com/Atlanta962

Nope. YouTube is filled with positive reactions all across the board. Websites follow it's every bit of progress. It's had multiple articles in major magazines. And these TV spots are generating a ton of hype.

Sorry, but the hype is real, and readily apparent.

The producers have already stated that their marketing approach to Wonder Woman was inspired by the way they marketed Supergirl. That show, also, didn't have a huge ad campaign until close to its release date. Worked great for Supergirl. What was it? 8 million people checked in to see the pilot?

    Sometimes less is more.

Though much is taken, much abides; and though
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are,
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

Totally forgot it was made by Zemeckis. But I wasn't big fan of it or Allies, so...
I hope DC is not going just for big name directors, but people who actully cut to do a job (no matter how famous they're).
