Rio is currently staying with her so I can imagine she'll be coming back into the comic at some point.

Didn't Bendis once mention a possibly storyline of Miles visiting his mother's roots and his Hispanic heritage? Maybe that's where Gloria will come back to prominence?

Though lord knows if Rio has told her anything, she's probably rubbing "I told you so" in her face...

    Secret Empire #2 Spoilers:
    spoilers:
After learning the truth about the cosmic cube, Natasha remains unconvinced and believes that it is another false lead. She goes off on her because she believes that the only way to end this nightmare is by killing Steve. Miles ends up following her because he believes that he can't keep avoiding Ulysess' vision and the rest of the Champions also join up to back him up.
    end of spoilers

Pretty much sets the stage for the Uprising issue.

This feels like they're all just setting themselves up to fail, given the circumstances.

As long as they come out on time, I'm good.

Liked the setup for Uprising here. It definitely made me want to pick it up.

Can't wait. I've read the 3 chapter preview sampler a few times and can't get over how Miles (and especially Ganke) leap off the page. Reynolds really tapped into the heart of their friendship and it's a joy to read. It takes a little getting used to their Brooklynized speech (Ganke saying "aight" and the occasional mild language, for example) but it works perfectly.

Not related to Miles, but I *highly* recommend checking out Reynolds' other books if you can. They're YA fiction and generally fast reads, but full of heart. "Boy in the Black Suit", "As Brave As You" and "Ghost" are all wonderful. "All-American Boys" is far more intense and powerful, but an important book to read (I had to put it down a few times because I felt overwhelmed). I wish I had stuff like this growing up. We are very fortunate that a writer of this caliber is giving us their take on Miles.

Cool cover, though I'm wondering what version of Peter Miles is going to be teaming-up with ?

Perhaps a classic version. Note he's not wearing his new costume.
