I was hoping Pete was going to say "Sorry I didn't know about your death, I was too busy watching DVD's".

Looks great. Love the preview. More beautiful McGuinness art. Looking forward to the rest of the issue. Really glad they're keeping Aaron's cast and that Kurt's in a team book. Man, though, Bobby would make the world's worst secret agent.

Captain, in Order to build a better world, sometimes means tearing the old one down... And that makes enemies.

I haven't laughed so much with a preview in ages. This is awesome.

    Hmm, not really feeling this.

The characters seem too much aware that they are fictional to feel genuine. Would prefer to leave that stuff for Deadpool.

Everyone grieves in their own way.
Sometimes you watch crappy movies with your test-tubed ghost girlfriend.

    That was cute.
CK/CY always wrote a funny Pix.

Looking good so far. Hopefully KYost won't disappoint.

Only nitpicking I have is Pete looks a bit odd and it appears his powers aren't broken anymore.

Didn't Cable give him some crank-gadget-doohicky to keep his metal in check?

Yeah but I didn't see it. Of course it could be somewhere not shown.

It seems this pretty much confirms that the niche this book is trying to fill is "light-hearted". I do think that that this came off a little forced and sitcom-y, especially with Storm being cast perilously close to the role of the smothering wife figure. But I'll give it a shot; maybe things will pick up once the action gets underway.

Though I confess, this doesn't give me a lot of hope for how well Alpha Flight's going to be used. I'm having flashbacks to that awful third series.

Hopefully Domino won't be cast aside completely....

My one artistic gripe is the Stormhawk.

I like it long and vivacious and trellising down her back. Something more like this...

Something fierce and flowy that her winds'll scoop up and toss around. I want Storm getting all caught up in that mane.
