    Default PREVIEW: Amazing Spider-Man, #1.2

    • J. Jonah's Jameson's crusade against Spider-Man kicks into overdrive! He warned us! He told us that kids might try to emulate Spider-Man! And he was RIGHT!
    • Meet CLASH, New York's newest menace. He may be Spidey's biggest fan, but he's about to become one of his worst enemies.
    • Wanted by the cops, turned away by the Fantastic Four, his grades are slipping, and he still hasn't figured out this whole crime-fighting-thing. Pete's not a hero... not yet... but he'll get there. Somehow.

Love that art. Any time we get a chance to revisit the Ditko era I'm in!

I'm enjoying this more than the main book right now. It reminds me greatly of Untold Tales of Spider-Man. It does fit well into the inbetween issues of 1-2 of Amazing Spider-Man and I read that the rest of the arc fits in-between 3-5. I do wonder what is going to set Clash up to be a villain and not a hero?

The scripting's got a nice throwback feel to it too. Clash's exposition has a certain 60's era "describe everything" vibe going on.

Great preview. Really enjoyed the first issue.
