I'm one of the nutters who really liked the grape ones. Man...candy in the 80s...cartoons in the 80s...Reagan in the 80s (before we grew up and realized he wasn't a geriatric super hero fighting the commies to keep the US free)...the 80s really were the pinnacle of human achievement.

To hell with your technology. Give me back Bonkers!

On this point, I might have to politely disagree...

Lol. Oh, fine. I'll take off my rose colored glasses and just enjoy the stuff from then that was a really good, and toss out the crap that was awful.

Darn you, making me approach nostalgia like a dang ol' adult....

Don't Give In! We've still got The Power Glove (And the origin of all things Nintendo), the Lego Separator, Teddy Ruxpin, the Walkman, VHS tech, and the Cellphone.

Come on, Teddy was two bits of sixties(or earlier) technology slapped together.

    As for VHS, also seventies.

Come to think of it, it seems like the first Walkman might have been '78 or '79.

If memory serves (a dicey proposition at my advanced age), I never owned a Walkman. I can't remember why though.

my friends and I have a twice yearly CANDY WARS debate when Easter and Halloween come around

Easter IMO has the better candy

various chocolate eggs and no candy corn

Well, other than Peeps which I'm not a fan of, you're right about Easter having the best candy.
