    Idie is Molly Ringwald? *FAIL*

Come on, she's obv. Ally Sheedy's character.

You can't seriously have a writer for a teen-themed book that can't rattle off Breakfast Club analogues like it's second nature. What's the point otherwise? And John Candy? Those Candy movies with Hughes were fine, but nowhere near as sociologically freighted as Hughes' landmark treatises on the teen experience.

    Hey guys,

Thanks for reading, as always. Don't forget to send in your Paul Cornell "Wolverine" questions, and make sure to check back on CBR later this week for an X-related interview I know you're going to enjoy.

No. There are certain pop culture touchstones you should be aware of if you are writing in any pop culture-oriented skein.

Especially if you're ostensibly trading off the very thematics that the touchstones put in place and/or perfected.

It's a tragedy Asrar is leaving this book...I wanted to like it, I really did, but now I have an excuse to dump it. Perhaps if they made it more student-centric and if they were not so dependent on the "Teachers" to come to their aid everytime a big bad shows up. Perhaps...

Whoa! Wait a minute, Asrar is leaving the series? I didn't see that here.

Some of us bitter old fans might take that as a personal challenge.

I'm surprised he didn't say that Quentin Quire was Kevin McAllister from Home Alone.

Wow, this series seems to be falling apart. The whole Storm/Wolverine relationship is done. No need to continue to add layers here. Sounds like someone forgot to let all the writers in on the memo. And what he referencing about Santo and Evan VS Hellion and Evan? Neither of them have spent much time with Apoco-Lite at all. The whole premise of Evan is pretty lame anyway. Right up there with Kid Hellfire Club. This series was restarted but kept all the wrong bits from the previous one. The HEAVY handed Phoenix plot is NOT fun at all, especially when it's just going to create more messes. In fact, the whole Phoenix Corp is pretty lame. I wish my Rachel question had been asked, then maybe I'd feel more confidant on his grasp of the Phoenix.

Is that official or is it only for that issue?

I believe it's for an arc. I think it'll be for ANXM.

He's solicited for ANXM 31, but that seems to be a one-shot story.
