Wolverine may have "Three Months to Die," but there's even less time to submit your X-POSITION questions for series writer Paul Cornell.

Hello, Mr. Cornell. In the beginning of your Wolverine run, you have said in an interview that you found Wolverine and Storm as a couple very interesting and that you liked the idea that give each other space. Why have you decided to end that relationship and create a new love interest for Logan?

How did you get the idea for killable?
Why did you change Wolverine's costume?
    Don't kill Wolverine.

Because healing factor (well, while it was working). No need to have him ACTUALLY use the 150+ years of training and experience when he can just shrug off the massive damage.

Why does Wolverine have to go back and "rediscover" his martial arts roots so often? It just happened as recently as Jason Aaron's Manifest Destiny when he went back to train with Master Po, and in Volume 4 when he goes back to San Fran. It just seems like a way to cover up the fact that some writers write Wolverine out of character...and forget that he's supposed to be one of the best martial artists known to man.

I still don't understand why Wolverine's behavior is different regarding his mortality THIS time. Just to give a few examples, Wolverine once took on Lady Deathstrike, Sabretooth, and Omega Red at the same time without his healing factor to save his foster daughter...and then he died. Wolverine also sacrificed himself to kill Doom the Living Planet during that Mojoverse craziness...and that was in continuity. And there's that time when he all but lost his healing factor going up against the Reapers, and he was still jumping into situations head-first like nothing had changed. Wolverine's been to hell and back...literally...and fought an incarnation of the Devil. So if Wolverine didn't act scared in those situations, why would he act like this now? What's different? I can think of several times where Logan went into situations KNOWING that he was going to die, and acted bravely...so this seems like a completely different character when he acts this way now. Some of the posters on this board are starting to refer to him as "Mope-arine".

1.) Why is death and depowering used by Marvel for shake-ups?

2.) Weapon X/Weapon Plus was used to make mutants in to sentinels if I'm not mistaken. They enhanced mutants to be able to kill other supers. That being said; where did all of Wolverine's training, other mutations, Weapon X programming, etc go? He's being written as just some guy with claws and a metal skeleton. Logan is quick enough that Spider-Man, Kaine, Doc Ock mentions it when they tussled, yet you have Batroc dodging him with ease. Wolverine would easily evade The Hulk, beat Puma(without his healing btw) and the list keeps going, but he's written like some guy with claws and a metal skeleton. Wolverine was also programmed to fight without even thinking. That's no where to be seen. When Forge monitored Wolverine's vitals during a Danger Room training session, he reported Logan's physical and mental state as "equivalent to an Olympic-level gymnast performing a Gold-medal-winning routine whilst simultaneously beating four chess computers in his head." Now he's written having trouble with some thugs with guns.

3 months to die...he's been dead because this is not Wolverine.

3.) Wolverine loves Storm...apparently not enough to stop him from catching feelings for a new gal. Yikes. I'll just wait for your grand plan to come to light.

    1. Will Wolverine propose to Storm for marriage before he dies?
"Do you know what happens to a toad when it's struck by lightning? The same thing that happens to everything else." - Halle Berry as Storm

Yes! Storm has her own ongoing solo comics. Storm #1 in shops: 7/23/2014

Not only that, but Wolverine has taken down other top tier fighters in straight-up-and-down hand to hand combat...like Captain America, the Winter Soldier, Deadpool, the Silver Samurai, and even Shang-Chi once. Say what you will about Daniel Way, but he always wrote Wolverine as a top tier fighter. Most writers, outside of Way and Jason Aaron, seem to forget that he actually has skill and he doesn't need to take 100 bullets to the chest when he can actually use his agility to evade harm.
