Default Cover Contest 3/9-3/15 Historical Figures

Since it hasn't been used yet, I thought our theme for this week would be Historical Figures!.

If the person actually existed on our planet at one time, he or she is fair game. My pick to start this thing off is my favorite baseball player of all-time:

    Cover Contest Weekly Posted Rules:

Post one (and only one) cover that fits the theme of this week's contest.
Cover must be from a published comic book or collected volume.
Covers must be posted before voting begins.
Voting begins 12 AM Tuesday and runs until 12 AM Wednesday PST.
Vote by posting the name in bold of the poster whose cover best fits the theme or that you simply like the most.
The winner of the contest is the entrant with the most votes after the voting period.
It's okay to discuss the covers but if you think someone's entry doesn't fit the theme or violates the rules, you don't need to argue it in the thread, simply don't vote for it.
Most importantly please remember that we're here to have fun. Enjoy![/QUOTE]

    A timely entry.

This is a real comic, in case anyone was wondering.

When I'm not hanging around CBR, I'm writing stuff like this... The Green Ghost and Sherlock Holmes. Also the weekly column right here at CBR.

If you've heard this story before, don't stop me, because I'd like to hear it again.

I know that his historicity is up for debate however I do believe there is a historical person behind the mythology. If anyone thinks otherwise, I would be more than happy to find another cover (gives me an excuse to keep looking haha)

There were quite a few people who used the Robin Hood moniker 1,000 years ago in England, so I would say it's fine by me.

That's the silliest cover I have ever seen.
