Something kind of funny about seeing Clark Kent wearing a baseball cap backwards.

Not a lot to go on here, other than getting a feeling for the art direction and the premise that was solicited some time ago.

Interesting line from the hooded guy. He channeling Jonathan somehow or something?

He appears to have the same slight witticism while fighting that he had under Morrison and currently has under Pak. If that's any indication of his overall characterization here that's a huge plus.

I hate the art so much. Oh my god it's ugly, but it's good to see that Clark's apartment is in ship shape after the damage he did to it as Doomsday. I still can't tell if I'll like the storytelling.

    "Sigh".
Does any one has a feeling of déjà vu with this?
I mean seriously? A mystery from the past we never heard of before? Again?
Does.....Does every thing has to be about that these days? Unchained, Green Arrow, Batman....
I mean, I know comic books can't really move foward because continuity and icons and stuff, but come on! At least pretend your aren't completely turned toward the past for a change.

I like the Kents, so I'm okay with them coming back; they're only bad if they're used badly, in my opinion. Nonetheless, I can't say this preview has me convinced they are returning enough for me to get excited or worried. What annoys me about the teased story so far is this new character. I'll wait and see, though, because I want to like Johns' run.

Is everyone else seeing something I'm not? The Kents only appear in a photo album. It's amazing how much people can extrapolate from one panel!

Is that Desaad in the last page of this preview?

I assume some think the hooded guy is Pa Kent because of the "I taught you to stand back up" comment.
Which would be incredibly stupid, regardless of your stance on the Kent being alive or not.
Frankly, considering Geoff Johns is a Donner fanatic who killed Pa Kent Pre Flashpoint, I'm not worried about that. That guy is probably just some sort of dude Clark met before when he was young and who secretely trained him or whatever. Which is still a stupid idea.
