    Default GRAYSON #1 Preview/Discussion (spoilers from pg14)

Dick Grayson. Former sidekick. Former Super Hero. Former dead man. And now...agent of Spyral?!
A thrilling new chapter of Dick Grayson's life begins in this new, ongoing series. It's a super-spy thriller that will shock you and prove one thing: You might think you know Nightwing - but you don't know Dick.

Ugh, I really wanted to be able to skip this, but I guess my wallet ain't getting any breaks!

I do hope they're able to differentiate Spyral from S.H.A.D.E., A.R.G.U.S., and any other agencies I'm forgetting. The idea is beginning to feel a little redundant...

Already looks better than all 30 issues of Nightwing.

Seriously, Kid A. THAT is how you sell a comic.

Notice how he didn't shoot the guy in the face with the gun. Hopefully that one page will calm some people down.

    WOW!

    What a sensational preview!

Although, once again, we are left with the lingering issue of how Bruce can keep Dick's death public when so many heroes and villains saw him alive.

Also, Dick is blonde now. Guess that explains who the blonde guy in the Batsgiving picture is.

Looks really great! Love the tag line "you don't know Dick". Cheesy, but it fits.

Pretty cool that he's already using disguises. I don't think he will always be blonde.

Okay, I planned on trying this for a few issues. Looks like fun.

Great preview! Definitely giving the 1st arc a shot. My only concern is how they distinguish Spyral from the other spy agencies in DC.

No DickBats when reflecting over his time as a hero. I guess that is supposed to be expected though. Also I guess this confirms who the blonde guy on the Eternal teaser image was. Might be there attempt to explain it away in the new retooled story.

Fantastic. I like being dropped in on the action as well, and wondering "What's going on here?" as to the larger plot and especially the LARGER plot - the series mega-story. Great action. Grayson and trains go pretty well together, not just because of the action (or because the last time I saw it was Young Justice), but because trains carry people ... therefore, interaction with people.

    Russian Mail-Order Assassin!

Helena on the head-set, busting his chops about St. Hadrians girls.

    Disguise!

    Glory.

I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've ever seen Janin take a stab at Joker, Penguin and Riddler. Excellent interpretations.
