I... I just don't see the point of this. I mean, it's not even like you are giving the book back to Kyle Higgins or Justin Jordan, who could make something of this. I mean, Tony Daniel? Seriously?

Bringing a cancelled series back and putting Daniel on the writing...

I guess writing a lousy story shouldn't stop him from trying again, but it hasn't been a long enough time that I can see him getting much better or the character really having much success. Gonna have some lovely splash pages, though.

    Another miss for DC.

Why does DC think that Daniel can headline a book?

Because it means DC doesn't have to pay as much for a team of one vs a team of two. That simple.

He also might be essentially saying that he might not be willing to work as an artist for them if they don't give him opportunities to write, and they don't want to lose him completely.

Because the sales when we wrote and drew Detective were really good? The book suffered more when John Layman took over, which Layman even says.

Tony Daniels actually has me slightly intrigued. He was spitting out hot fire from 2009 to 2011. If I hear good things maybe I will check it out.

Hopefully they write him as a villain and a mercenary and not try to go the anti-hero route.

Would you prefer Rob Liefeld returning?

Let me be the first to say...Hell Yes...as long as they don't use Rob Liefeld I'm 100% on board with this...It'll be neat to see if they tie in the new suicide squad...I hope so.

I like his art, I'd really like him to do a catwoman relaunch.
Books I'm reading: Batman Eternal, Red Hood, Black Widow, Elektra, Loki Agent of Asgard, Green Arrow, Wonder Woman, Action Comics, Catwoman.........
