I know it's an incredibly obvious thing to ask, but did you pick up the original Kree/Skrull War with the beautiful Neal Adams Ant-Man chapter, where he goes into the Vision to repair him. Adams drew it so well, it's a pity he didn't use the character more.

Nope. After my school exams and in the summer, I'm going to really start reading much more comics. I've got a list already and I'm wanting to get some Ant-Man stuff.

Adams drew the hell out of that comic. I'm sure Alan Davis could draw an equally good-looking Ant-Man adventure, but I doubt it will ever happen.

Am getting such a kick out of that last panel. (Looks like the ant is doing as much serious contemplation on the problem as Hank is. Kind of superhero with his sidekick.)
Parental care is way exhausting. Gained insight into what my parents went through when I was a baby. Not fun, but what ya gonna do? (Read comics, obviously.)

Tis the struggle of many a Hank Pym fan. I recommend the old Silver Age Tales to Astonish collections as well as the Roy Thomas run on Avengers from the early days. This was when Hank regularly swapped between Giant Man, Goliath, and Yellow Jacket. It was awesome.

With Wright's departure, do you guys think that there is a likelihood they could retool the movie to make Hank the main Ant-Man? They could even keep the actors, just let Rudd be Hank and Douglas be Vernon van Dyne.

Who knows? It isn't clear at the moment. I was expecting Rudd to be Langy.

Solo? Not much. A couple run the mill adventures in Avengers Spotlight, but as part of a team West Coast Avengers is a great place to follow Hank. He really takes the spotlight during Byrne's run. Slott's Mighty Avengers also gravitates a lot around Hank. And, whatever you do, don't miss the Dwayne McDuffie Beyond mini-series. Hank was awsome there (Though Brevoort insists it was the Skrull then, not Hank. I prefer to ignore him). Plus, some of my other favorirtes such as Gravuty, Firebird and Deathlok.

    Peace

All I can hope for is future exposure, given Ant-Man next year and possibly an Avengers appearance.

In terms of the timeline set up in SECRET INVASION, yeah, that Hank would had to have been a Skrull. But that doesn't necessarily undermine anything about Hank's role there--the Skrulls were duplicating the brain patterns of the person they were posing as to complete the disguise. So at that time, the Skrull thought he WAS Pym, and would be acting exactly as Pym would.

The only impact the Skrull thing has is that it means Hank has no memory of the events of BEYOND, since he technically wasn't there.

I hope they do. Hank Pym is too good a character to be not even the star of his own movie at least once. Ideally, I would want the first movie to follow the adventures of Hank and Janet as they discover the Pym Particles and go on zany adventures. Introduce Scott Lang in the second movie and have Hank and Scott team up to stop a greater threat and maybe join the Avengers at the very end.

Have you tried the Season One book? That's basically an origins story.
