So, to any classic rock fans out there, is this a wise move? For me, an AC/DC album without Malcolm Young, Cliff Williams and Brian Johnston isn't really an AC/DC album. When does a band's line-up alter so much that it's not 'legit' anymore?

Surely there's a point where a band loses so many members that it's not credible anymore.
I think it depends on the band and who the key members were. For instance, The Stones without Jagger/Richards aren't the Stones. There's no Black Crowes w/o the Robinson Bros. Led Zep could have continued w/o John but without Jimmy or Robert? If Motley Crue lost Nikki Sixx, it wouldn't be MC, but it could keep going without anyone else. Smashing Pumpkins needs Jimmy Corgan to be SP and has continued without the other original members. Having said that I think there were two versions LA Guns performing at one point...a Tracii Guns group vs a Phil Lewis group?

So yeah, the Chinese Democracy Guns N Rose wasn't GNR...it was "Axel and his Amazing Friends." And while I'm not mad if Angus wants to keep performing and he asked Axel to join him, I'm not sure I'd consider it "ACDC" without at least Malcolm as part of the line up.

Based on my own personal nostalgia, whenever I hear this song I remember being a child and this song made me think of what I thought of then as the "bad teenagers"...

Smashing Pumpkins did a decent cover of this song.

I wish I could find that concept clip of "Cold As Ice" that was played on SNL years ago as one of their "short films".
