Is Bunn just the designated anti-hero/anti-villain writer now at the Big Two?

I never thought DC would be keeping the Gambit Wannabee version of Lobo around let alone giving him his own series. It's a Mad House! A MAD HOUSE!!!!!

This is unexpected. I might give it a shot; it could be fun.

I hope it's funny. That's all. Wish they could get Bisley to do the artwork too.
Mogo doesn't socialize... but they shine on like a Crazy Diamond.

For a split second I thought the title said Lobo meets faux-bro.

There's nothing about nuLobo that stinks Gambit. NuLobo is a well-groomed handsome man.

From what I've seen, looks like I might try it out.

    That Kuder cover is great!

Like the Gotham Academy/Arkham Manor books this is unexpected but it does look as though it could be quite fun especially with Bunn's name attached. Magneto and Sinestro are great books IMHO so this should hopefully be very good indeed.

It great to see Bunn is getting work around the place.

But its odd how the Original Lobo is branded the fake, given that is the one that will have the established fanbase in DCs target demographic.

My theory is that in whatever kind of 'bible' DC ascribes to there is a list of alpha males, and where a character is on that list decides how badass they can be. Batman is on the top of that list, which is why when they dig up and insert a fan fave tough guy like Lobo they need to tone it down. Because noone can be more alpha than Batman.

Bunn has yet to let me down, I'll check this out. Anyone else read THE SIXTH GUN? Fun stuff!

    Okay.
Let me get this straight, DC.
You guys had an opportunity for a Lobo/Lobo team up book and you passed it up?
What's wrong with you? That was an awesome idea.
    Ho well.
Don't know much about the creative team, so I guess it could be alright.

Lobo and "faux-bo" (and in my mind, the pretty one is "faux-bo") remind me of the Viper and the Mountain. (Game of Thrones) It would be too cool if their encounter ends in a similar fashion...

That's the first thing that came to my mind too. It's nice to see that he's getting the projects and characters he wants to tell stories with. Here's hoping he gives us a solid Lobo run.

Once again, DC is giving ongoing titles to characters who don't deserve them.

I'm not saying this book will be bad, it might actually be good. But where are Shazam, Cyborg, Martian Manhunter, Red Robin ongoings? IMO, characters like those are far more deserving of solo ongoing titles than Lobo.

Sounds like a fun concept. I'm down!
