I'm really excited to see where the Batman line ends up, with Robin Rises on the horizon too.
I have a couple of issues of BE to catch up on(think I'm on 9), anyway should be enough till July 16th!
"Yes...Mondo Cool"- Vegeta.
And now, we sort of know why "Arkham Manor" is happening, and as some here correctly guessed, it has to do with Batman Eternal:
Though, Wayne Manor being "repossessed by the state" isn't how I expected it to play out.And then secondarily, this book, "Arkham Manor," it takes place in continuity, spinning out of events from "Batman Eternal," that Wayne Manor is basically repossessed by the state, and because they have nowhere to put all of these -- [DC PR interrupts: "Don't give it all away!" Snyder laughs] They have to use Wayne Manor as Arkham, essentially, while they rebuild Arkham, because it's off-site, it's outside the city and it's the biggest place they got. It's incredible fun and Gerry Duggan is a good friend; part of the idea was to do an issue that we got to co-write and would use one of our friends, Mateo Scalera, who I just really adore. We were away together at the D.I.C.E. convention in Ireland, and I love his work on "Black Science" and everything. So it was about doing an issue that would allow me to do a small detective story for once! It's like, let's do a one-shot with Leslie Thompkins and a new killer! [Laughs] Its just Batman as a detective, between these two massive arcs.
Holy Sh!t... is FM ok? He looks like he has aged a decade or two in just a few years, he looks skinny as hell too. I hope he is not ill.
I'm sure that grainy pic isn't doing him any favors, but yeah, I hope he's doing okay.
Looking forward to this.

Miller smokes, but it's simply because he's shaved that he looks older now.
I think the facial hair just obscured his wrinkles.
Anyway, so I'm guessing Bruce is going to need to evacuate the Bat-cave.
Love the haircut comment.
Miller's a great hair and clothes artist (as are Chaykin, Toth, Mazzuchelli, Jim Lee) and it brings something out in Batman, especially. Batman comics should look fashionable.
Patsy Walker on TV! Patsy Walker in new comics! Patsy Walker in your brain! And Jessica Jones is the new Nancy! (Oh, and read the Comics Cube.)
Seriously. He looks like Freddy Kruger in this pic.Holy Sh!t... is FM ok? He looks like he has aged a decade or two in just a few years, he looks skinny as hell too. I hope he is not ill.
Can't wait for the Zero Year finale, just so I can put it behind me.
Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah!
Generic condescending passive aggressive elitist statement.
Whoa, Frank's gotten old.
If that's the result of him shaving, makes you wonder what Alan Moore looks like under all that hair.
the Batbooks are amazing right now.
Looking forward to what else Mark Doyle has planned (Cassandra Cain, Mark......do it!)
Sigh...the more Snyder talks, the less I want to read his books.
If you are not reading Lazarus, you should be.
Loving Snyder's run and looking forward to more news about his next arc
