Bane walks past Maxie Zeus, who is quoting the "abandon all hope" part of Dante's Inferno, into Arkham.

    Bane beats up Two-Face.

Bane gets ready to beat up Solomon Grundy and Amygdala (almost an hour later...?) by juicing himself.

Poor Harvey. He didn't even get to toss his coin .

Well, I think we all know how well Grundy and Amygdala are going to do...

This is fun stuff. Bane working his way through the Arkhamites. This doesn't match the emotions of last issue, but it promises some wacky fun.

So, Bane walking through the Asylum fighting Batman's foes, some kind of reversed Knightfall ... FREAKIN AWESOME
By the way, here it says "Day Four" but, in the previous issue, it was written also "Day Four". Was that a mistake? I asumed that between number #17 & #18 happened almost the whole third day and what we saw was the night of day three and the beggining of day four. Something like: Day three starts with Bane taking the hostages out of the roof, stays in his safehouse through the dawn and the whole day until the night comes, and there he goes to the gates of Arkham to face Batman

This is what happens when he doesn't flip his coin to decide to do something .

Though, really, Two-Face was the last guy Bane needed to take out like that, but I get he was trying to make a point.

I think Bane attacked him because he said that Bruce had offered him a deal. That's pretty much when Bane made up his mind, he's telling them he's not Batman.

    Why is Grundy in Arkham?

And I really don't think that Bane even on Venom should have much of a chance against Grundy.

    Because Arkham games.

Neither is Batman, Grundy has always been inconsistent. Sometimes he's fighting Supes next time he's a street level brute.

I think this is supposed to be a mirror "Arkham Asylum" which has been paid a lot of service throughout this arc.

In Long Halloween and Dark Victory, Grundy was shown as an Arkham inmate and someone who could be defeated by Batman (in Long Halloween only the latter was shown). I guess that's the Solomon Grundy that King is using. I don't know if there are previous stories where Grundy was a Batman villain and an Arkham inmate, but at least those are the more popular, so it's no surprise that that's the Grundy we're getting. I don't think it's because of the Arkham games
