I think Dc got bigger fish to worry about than Batgirl-see Cyborg & Blue Beetle.

Who CARES if it's the lowest seller of the Bat family? Really who cares? They are not going to toss her in the trash-she's not Stephanie or Cassandra Cain.

Since the Bleeding cool store owners are trying to get everyone at Marvel fired and flat out ignore everyone at DC that looks up to a lot of those books they bash.

All this since I don't like it-it means it's bad nonsense needs to stop. We already got folks making up data like it's the holy grail in the Marvel threads. Don't need it here.

Maybe just maybe other factors play into it beside calling for Hope Larson to be fired.

    Folks do have BUDGETS.

I know places where I can get HER, Cyborg, Justice League, Action Comics, Batman, Detective, Justice League vs Suicide Squad, Deathstroke, Flash & the Hanna Barbara books for 50-90% off the cover price. So why would I rush to a comic book store?

Folks do wait on SALES-my store did a 40% back issue sale-Everybody not named Batman (not All Star), Blue Beetle, Hal Jordan or Titans got cleaned out. With another sale coming in May & August of 40%. So why would I rush to buy certain books?

    And lets not forget Ebay.

As for Tim-Let him go to college somewhere and develop a new ID in his own book. Keep him out of Gotham for a while.

You're right. DC only throws good characters in the trash.

People are doing that? That's just wrong. She's just a writer doing her best.

I like my globetrotting idea, and I like your college idea. Just have Tim and Steph, and preferably Cass together, and I'll give DC all the moneys.

Dick was not fine. His run was treading water. The run was constantly derailed by crossovers and any progress his character made was obliterated 2 or 3 issues on. It was also incredibly dark, his friends and supporting cast were killed or threatened at an alarming rate. Tim became the founder of the Titans and Jason took his few friends that survived the Nu52 cull. He needed Grayson badly.

Besides a "Drake" book would've been terrible. "I hacked the Midnighter"

Hey, it's not like the writers have issues with an overpopulated Gotham in the first place. What's one more hero to them?

admitedly, that does actually sum up Higgins run, unfortunately, and I liked Higgins.

Top spot for sure, Batman has admitted Dobbs was a better detective than he was.

Best idea ever. Superlad93 talked about doing a comic where Kon works for Cadmus as the archetypal "finding yourself in your 20's job" so this would be tim's version.

Sort of out of left field, isn't that?

(I do like Golden Age Sandman in the 1930s/1940s stories, though.
And don't forget his appearance in issues #11-15 of the Madame Xanadu series from the Vertigo line as well.)

It's easy, let Damian go to Bludhaven to reform the best Dynamic Duo with Dick, while Tim rejoins Bruce as his partner in Gotham. That way you have the two more popular eras of Duos represented, which is what Rebirth is about, and it doesn't take away from either Tim or Damian.

Tim would get to reform the Young Justice (he'd have season 3 of the TV series around to boost the profile of the book), which would match up nicely to Bruce and the JL, much like Dick and the Titans and Damian and the Teen Titans.

Lastly, move Duke over to 'Tec, or let him do his "day-time Batman" thing, regardless, he doesn't work as Bruce's partner, and Snyder is working towards him being something completely different anyways.

ideally, i think they should try distancing Tim from the "Robin" role.

Agreed. He was Bruce's partner for two decades. His time in that role has passed.

Also, the more I think about it, the more I WANT a book where Tim fights crime from his college, which he's attending with Steph, who has Cass sleeping in her room.

I can see that. A slightly darker, less hipster version of Burnside Batgirl with a detective slant. Tim as a 16 year old whiz kid trying to fit in at college, and balancing a sh*tload of superheroics on top of that. Steph and Cass are too young to attend with him but they can still be his main supporting characters. Oh man, would that be a kickass ongoing.
