    Thanks for sharing.

-MJ being tempted by the Symbiote should cause major friction for the fam.
-Crime-Master back. Is this one of the Clone Conspiracy survivors resurfacing?
-2099 looks like it's wrapping up here.
    -Miles vs Cap

    Apparently there's no Kingpin.

I thought for a second it was a flashback/remake issue with teenage Spider-Man in-time for Homecoming, especially with Thompson writing it since he was on Spidey.

The Broadway thing got me thinking MJ too, but she hasn't been an actress for a while now in 616, so maybe Peter is going there just to reminiscese

Spider-Man teams up with Ironheart, the Spider-Men 2099 finally meet (and join forces?), Mary Jane is tempted by Venom, and the Scarlet Spiders have their showdown. That's pretty much what I'm looking forward to..
The spider is always on the hunt.

    Thoughts:

    - I can't help but root for Ock in taking apart that souped-up Spider-Mobile and Parker Industries .

    - That "Master Plan" one-shot seems...interesting. Is it a flashback or remake of the Crime-Master saga, since we're getting a teen Spidey in Homecoming, given Thompson is writing it? The reprint with Vulture's first appearance lends itself to that as well. Are they going to adapt the Master Planner saga too, judging by the title?

    - I can't say I care for Spec becoming another Spider-Man team-up book, though hopefully ti's handled well. Though Ironheart "beating him up" does not inspire much confidence.

    - I kinda feel bad for Brock that he becomes Venom again and now the Symbiote is starting to reject him and he's stuck fighting Stegron. But hey, Stegron .

    - It's weird seeing Ben-27 in the classic Scarlet Spider duds when it sounds like he's still Jackal-y.

    - Be interesting to see how MJ fares against the Symbiote...she is probably one of the most willful women in the MU, so she's got that going for her .

    - I'm wondering how long they'll keep Spider-Man/Deadpool going with Kelley and McGuinness seemingly done.

    - Miles dealing with a classic gang war sounds fun, as does Hammerhead actually putting up a fight against him this time. I just hope Black Cat isn't involved...

    - Hopefulyl Miguel can go out on a high note with this run.

Sucks seeing the series end but I'm with you on that. Would be nice to end this run fixing the future and set up for a new volume soon. This new S-Man is likely Miggy and Tempus' future son.

It's not on the list, but would anyone recommend the upcoming Friendly Neighborhood Complete Collection by Peter David? I love PAD, and read most of my Spidey in trade, but don't know if this will be a coherent read, considering all of the crossovers occurring around that time...

    Any insights are appreciated.

It's a pretty solid run despite all the crossovers, in my opinion .

I'll say that PAD made the most out of all the dramatic status quo changes or tie-in's he had to deal with on that book, and there were some definite highlights over the course of that book.

Definitely recommended! It was a strange time for the books but, IMO, Peter did the best with that status quo and, while it cannot match his PP:SSM run, it's pretty solid!
I miss Kevin Nichols. Not as much as bacon, but still...

Its a great alternative to the JMS stuff during that time period. Peter as a high school teacher, and a good focus on the soap opera aspects as well as action. I highly recommend it.

We also get some great stuff with the supporting cast, from Flash, to Deb, to Betty, to Robbie, and Jonah .

Even Sandman and Vulture get a good spotlight during that run.
