Default Wii U or Nintendo Switch

About these two nintendo consoles, What does everyone think of the switch compared to the Wii U, The Nintendo Switch uses flash ROM cartridges instead of discs. Is the lack of Wii U backwards compatibility on the switch a bad thing?.

The Switch is just an updated version of the Wii U. You get better frame rates, and it's fully portable (like a gameboy/3DS) but that's about it. The hard drive space is still the same. The Switch has a better processor but the Switch is a 2017 console, while the Wii U is a 2012 console. Both sport interactive gameplay, like the original Wii. It's a minor improvement IMO.

Direct comparison I think the Switch for gaming has to win simply because of better hardware as mentioned by Doctor Know.

True. The one thing Wii U does have is backwards compatibility with the wii. Sure ther might be a e-shop soon with wii games on the switch but that is never going to be with the entire library.
