    Yeah, that was sweet!

I also loved her more subtle display in the bar where the man drew his gun on Charlie. One blink later and Diana is out of her chair, grabbed the thug with one hand and has the gun in the other.

Lots of feats in this movie!

She was so fast, I missed it!

I kinda did see it, but of course, I never got the chance to replay the scene until now!

So in the film, she displayed enormous strength, speed, durability, and skill.

And of course, she can leap a tall building in a single bound!

Exactly, so she does have super speed! I wish they would release the movie sooner (though I am not being practical). I would do anything to own it (legally of course) so I can rewatch those scenes in the final battle over and over again.

But very Deadpool-ish...which is why it's funny.

A personal fave for me is in the fight with Ares on the roof, where she used the lasso the crack his missiles out of the air.

I was watching that thinking "THAT IS SO FRIKKIN' AWESOME!"
If ten years of recording The Young and the Restless for my mother have taught me anything, it's that characters in serial dramas are always happily in love...until they're not

That was some of the best use of the Lasso I've ever seen. Can't wait to see how they up the ante in the next movie. Be cool if she does some good stuff with it in Justice League too.

And seriously, that speed feat? That almost looked like teleportation. I mean we see a bunch of debris fall on her (we think) and then suddenly she's clocking Ares from off camera! No telltale speed sounds, no obvious disturbing of the debris to indicate that she got past it somehow, no sign that Ares was tracking her movements. That was just awesome!

Best box office hold of any super-hero movie in 15 years.

Inflation may play a factor, but there is no doubt our girl is kicking ass.

Interesting fact - In her first week, Diana raked in $147M in the U.S. Spider-Man Homecoming made $163M. Putting him ahead by $16M.

HOWEVER - Spidey made an extra $14M in his opening weekend, which means that for the rest of the week, his box office take only exceeded Diana by a mere $2M.

In other words, after his first weekend SMH made another $46M compared to WW's $44M. VERY CLOSE.

So now it goes from a sprint to a marathon. Can SMH show the same kind of legs that WW has [and we all know that WW has AMAZING LEGS! I mean, just look at the gif ]

    I'm gonna say no.
It's not about 'deserve' it's about what you believe. And I believe in Love.
