    Not sure if he's been seen/mentioned since Rebirth began. (Maybe somebody else can help?)

    In the recent Detective Comics issue, Zatanna mentions to Bruce that her father died. She says something along the lines of the 'Gnosis Sphere' being under her family's protection, the responsibility passing to her since his death.

    At one point, Zatara died (at the writing hands of Alan Moore) in Swamp Thing #50 (July 1986), as did Sargon the Sorcerer.







    (Steve Dayton/Mento didn't come through it very well, either.)
