Default Among the six Terran GLs, who is the responsible adult?

Among the six humans from Earth that the Guardians selected to be the Green Lantern of Sector 2814, which one is most consistently the responsible adult of the group? By that, I mean the one most likely to do things properly, with good judgment and common sense.

    John.

Guy is too much of a hothead, Kyle is too led by his heart, Simon has too many issues, Jessica is not all comfortable with herself and Hal doesn't have the maturity to be a responsible toddler, let alone a responsible adult.

John Stewart seems the most disciplined.

I don't know. Might go with Kyle. John was responsible for an entire planet being destroyed.

Clearly Alan Scott. Don't know why the emerald sentinel's missing from the list.

Anyway, I voted for Gardner. These days he's got a good sense of who he is that I think is very healthy.

Alan isn't part of the Corps and wasn't selected by the Guardians.

John seems the most level headed and responsible. So I'll go with him. Once Simon sorts out his stuff then I can see him being that one.

none of them, really. John may seem like the correct answer but he's got a huge ego and he's blown up more planets than Galactus

kyle's an asshole, hal's an airhead, jess struggles to get out of bed in the morning, simon can't make cookies

honestly, recently, Guy's probably the most responsible. At least he does the things he says he's gonna do

The Hal Jordan I grew up with, definitely. But since Geoff Johns got his hands on him and erased his decades worth of character development to turn him into an irresponsible frat-boy (I can't even call it a regression, because he was *never* that immature!), I'd have to go with John Stewart.

(I freely admit that I don't know much about Simon or Jessica, 'though.)

Kyle's always been a bit green (ha, I pun!) and even in the New 52, he seemed to be stuck making terrible choices. And Guy, ugh, the only time I liked Guy is when he was a Vudarian with guns for hands, which everyone else but me hated.

To be fair, Kyle was responsible to cause two planets to get destroyed (not counting OA) when he was trying to rebuild the GL Corps.

edit: Actually no, the entire solar system got destroyed, due to Kyle being irresponsible.

This may be true, but I'm not sure who from the six listed is a "responsible adult" any more.
(However I also gave up on the GL franchise after the awful War of the Green Lanterns crossover shortly before the New 52.)

IMO it's John. But the sad thing about it is that's probably the only characteristic I can talk about him. There's really nothing much other than matured, responsible, lawful and boring.

    John hands-down.

That being said, Hal can sometimes fill that role when he needs to, like when he's mentoring Simon and Jessica or when he's with Kyle.

When he had the grey temples, it was Hal and I didn't think it fit him. He just ended up seeming stiff. I don't like fratboy Hal either, but I'm glad he's not the dad anymore.
