There'd have to be some Batman/Elmer Fudd levels of buzz to get me to pick any up because none of them particularly interest me. I think Mister Miracle will keep me satisfied.
It's the Dynamic Duo! Batman and Robin!... and Red Robin and Red Hood and Nightwing and Batwoman and Batgirl and Orphan and Spoiler and Bluebird and Lark and Gotham Girl and Talon and Batwing and Huntress and Azreal and Flamebird and Batcow?

Since when could just anybody do what we trained to do? It makes it all dumb instead of special. Like it doesn't matter anymore.

I'm only interested in the one with Orion.

The lineup for the Jack Kirby 100th Anneversy specials that DC is putting seems a little underwhelming to me, the majority of the creative teams don't interest me, but if I were to purchase one of these specials it would probably be the Sandman one.

I'm probably going to buy Manhunter and hope that the story is far more Giffen then Didio.

I really want to see the Manhunters, all of them, make a return.

I got the Newsboy Legion/Boy Commandos because of Chaykin. I loves me some Howie Chaykin.

I'm not sure about the New Gods books. I suppose I'd be worried about it actually tying in to anything. One-shots in this day and age seem to be quick views of a character and if I don't really care much about the character, I'm less inclined to buy it. I guess I should wait for reviews and comments.

Except for Chaykin, cause I loves me my Chaykin.

I picked up the Newsboy Legion/Boy Commandos special in spite of it being by Chaykin.

I use to really enjoy his stuff back in the 1970s and 1980s, but not so much in recent years.

I'll probably get the Manhunter special and may also get the Sandman one as well.
But my primary interest would be on ones that tie in to his Golden Age work for DC.

(By the way, loved the inclusion of the classic "Kirby Golden Age 'Grabbers'!" page just before the original Newsboy Legion reprint story. For people who've never seen this before, it was in all of Kirby's 1970s comic books that included a reprint in the back of the book back when comic books jumped in price from 15¢ to 25¢ a copy and additional pages in the form of reprinted material were added.)

By the way, does anyone know if these specials are in continuity or not?

Probably not since we don't know if / how many of the characters themselves may still be in continuity at this point.

Well, I would buy all of them but as is more common than not, diamond can't get their act together to ship my store the books they order. So it seems I won't be buying many if any.

The New Gods Special was excellent. Really enjoyed that issue and would absolutely buy an on-going in that vein.
